I feel ridiculous, because a few days ago I posted a journal entry about how little work on my cosplay I have been doing.

so HERE!! Progress!! ^^

My Wig:
I have taken wefts out of the blonde wig, and I am going to thicken the brown wig. I've also laid one blonde weft over the top to see the colour contrast.

Crown:
I've completed the middle piece and the left hand side of the leaves. I like how neater they look than the other two crowns I've made (oh god why must everything be perfect). The white areas are just the undried clear coating.

Dress:
Not toooooo much done, I just cut out the pieces and stitched together, I haven't sewn it (obviously haha)

Shoulders:
I've only completed one (kind of) haha

Well it's looking really nice! Symmetry on the crown has certainly improved. My only concern is that the weathering on your pauldron does look just a tad too dramatic (my mistake if it's because you've only just started but I thought I'd give my two cents. Considering the tone of Twilight Princess you can certainly get away with it though.)

Thankyou very much! I find that the leaves on the crown look a lot more realistic and neater, and more circular.
I think it might be a little dramatic, but I'm making my cosplay with a more realistic touch, so more medieval and such.
I love your two cents ^^ they help quite a bit!

I'm glad you like my input, hah :meow:
So what did you use to put the raised designs on your pauldrons? It looks very nice.

I just used modelling clay. But before you apply it to the foam, make sure a dry layer of craft/foam glue has been applied, because otherwise it will just fall off.
